Square Enix: Final Fantasy pentru toată lumea

John Yamamoto, CEO Square Enix, a anunţat recent că intenţionează să extindă puternic prezenţa companiei şi în afara graniţelor Japoniei. Într-un interviu recent acordat pentru GameIndustry.biz,  Yamamoto a vorbit despre parteneriatul semnat cu Gas Powered Games şi despre inaugurarea în curând a unui birou la Los Angeles.
Acest fapt se traduce prin jocuri precum toată seria RPG Final Fantasy, disponibilă în fine şi pe pieţele americane şi europene.
„Deşi nu putem încă vorbi de planuri concrete, suntem foarte serioşi în a ne extinde puternic în America şi Europa. De asemenea, explorăm posibilitatea unor parteneriate sau chiar achiziţii noi pe aceste pieţe, dacă acestea se potrivesc modelului nostru de creştere agresivă”, a menţionat Yamamoto.
Pe site-ul oficial Square Enix au apărut deja anunţuri de posturi pentru programatori, QA şi marketing în Los Angeles. Cu câteva luni în urmă, compania a declarat şi că plănuieşte o versiune a celui mai nou Final Fantasy pentru Xbox 360, pentru a câştiga o audienţă globală.
